Our military deserves better than this empty charade. Yikes. The tank squeaking over silence is incredible.

To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

This world's richest man who is destroying any & all government agencies & programs that benefit the poor and middle class happens to be named after a Mars colony dictator in a novel written by a Nazi rocket scientist who during WW2 forced slave laborers to work to death in his Nazi rocket factory.

Recent historical research has shown that Nazi murders pf disabled citizens were far more extensive than previously understood. A widely debated 1920 tract from 2 German professors laid the groundwork by arguing that "useless eaters" who contribute nothing to society should be killed.

It's probably not 95%, but still... the current denial borders on psychotic. I'm shocked to still see pundits bleating about how a magical pendulum will save America from fascism b/c things always swing back.
The fun thing about America having centuries of unbroken institutional legitimacy is that the President can publicly say "I am doing a coup, illegally, in order to break the law for my own benefit" and 95% of people on both sides will say, "Oh no, he's not, that'd be crazy."

The Musk-led push to segregate the federal government by firing all minorities (under the flimsy excuse of "fighting" DEI) would have been unthinkable pre-2024 election. So it's worth wondering if Musk/Trump won't stop there & if an expanded regime of legal slavery (in force already in prisons)..

The stench of the advancing Trumpist/Musk agenda, to strip voting rights from women & force them, "barefoot & pregnant", back into "the kitchen"; to re-segregate America and impose a dramatically expanded regime of legal prison slavery; to cull the poor by stripping their benefits & healthcare.
With Handmaids Tale people focus on the shock of the mass rapes in the book and the show.

But how the regime came to be in power in that book keeps me awake at night because it is playing out in very intricate detail in our real lives right now.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

THIS IS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY.

This week, Elon Musk and a literal handful of 18 to 24-year olds have illegally taken over the US Treasury Department computers and now have access to all our nation's (both individual and collective) financial data.

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.
