I bought $25 Chromebooks for my siblings a few years ago that surprisingly still had software support. Since then they've slowed down and stopped working. Rather than throw them away, I installed a custom UEFI Firmware and Debian Linux. It runs KDE and Firefox flawlessly.

The blue sky for Linux tablets interface is pretty good 😜
Jokes aside, tablet apps are ignored often. The situation is worse on Android tablets with very limited support.

It's not. Apple also does not allow you to adjust the screen resolution on iPhone or iPad which makes their products unusable to me as if blind person. Apple isn't exactly leading in accessibility. Android on the other hand does let you do those things. I will concede that many apps break

This is just the cost of my prescription drugs. It does not count the cost of doctor's office visits and emergency room visits. American Healthcare is extremely exploitative, and reform is needed!
