The lack of concern and the almost “yeah, have fun with that” attitude displayed by that landscaper/driver. Really illustrates how deeply rooted this problem is.

Go down Blaisdale Avenue in Minneapolis sometime. Even a curb doesn’t stop car drivers from parking in the bike lane. Hell, at Blaisdale and Lake I see cars driving down the sidewalk level bike path all the time. It’s absolutely absurd. I’m honestly not sure why it’s so blatant on that street.

People really don’t acknowledge bike lanes basically at all. If only the police would do something… oh wait, they’re parked in the bike lane too.
It’s not like there isn’t a significant amount of bike traffic trying to get through.
I get that there is an event but that is no excuse.

On my commute into work today I saw this guy swerve into the bike lane right in front of me to park.
So infuriating every time.
And there was plenty of parking on the street on the other side of the road.
Which to me makes it worse.
