Working with Karama, Kamilia led work to bring activists and potential women leaders from across Sudan together to form a unified agenda. That project not only helped women to respond to crisis when conflict broke, but expanded connections between women's groups, making for more inclusive networks

As a teenager, Zohra joined the Wa'ed network for adolescent girls. There, she gained confidence and skills to talk about issues that were important to her - like climate change and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
