A recurring theme in my career is hearing someone describe a problem, then being able to say "Here's what that problem is called and here is some published literature about it."

I don't know if this is just a software developer thing, but folks are often surprised to learn there's literature.

For what it's worth, the article doesn't actually give much of an answer to "What happens if/when the AI bubble bursts?"

It does, however, make a modestly compelling case that there *is* a bubble that will likely pop someday in the not-too-distant future.
