Tues Aug 26 marked the 100 year anniversary of voting rights for women. Think about that - half the population of this country weren’t allowed to vote for over half this country’s history. Also, women still only make 85% of the pay that men make for equal work. We still have a ways to go.

Next year is the 250th anniversary of our country. Will we still be a democracy? Let’s recommit to the ideals of the Constitution. The right always invoked the Founding Fathers (meaning a return to patriarchy and slavery), but missed the part about separation of powers, and checks and balances.
