I run quizzes/tests on Qualtrics.

I am fed-up with it, it was never ideal and has gotten worse over the years (gloated and buggy).

Looking for alternatives, tips?

Need to be able to ask numeric, multiple choice and open ended questions, with randomization.

Mir tut das ehrlich richtig gut wie die Konservative Denkelite den Klimawandel bei jedem bisschen Schnee widerlegt sieht, das ist die naive Denkweise die ich brauche um positiv durch Leben zu kommen.

Just signed up for this! Thanks for sharing Daniel. Hope to see many of you in person 😁
Meeting on "The promises and pitfalls of preregistration" 4 and 5 march. royalsociety.org/science-even... Promises, such as reducing science-wide bias in research findings, and perils, such as instead of 95% of scientists feeling hypothesis tests are required, 96% will think so 😅

From yesterday's exhibits in US v. Sam Bankman-Fried:

The prosecution shows that the "insurance fund" that FTX bragged about was fake, and just calculated by multiplying daily trading volume by a random number around 7500

Folks, celebrate your friends. I know you probably know this, but it's easy to forget. Take joy in their successes and cheer on their moments in the sun, and always let them know they make your life better. It matters.

How’s everyone’s Sunday going?

It’s taking me a whole day to read this. I wish I could say any of it is surprising. It’s not. All too common in Academia.

I’ve long stopped feeling enraged, but I sure hope brave souls continue helping rectify the scientific record.

They Studied Dishonesty. Was Their Work a Lie?
Dan Ariely and Francesca Gino became famous for their research into why we bend the truth. Now they’ve both been accused of fabricating data.

Always thought Jack had it almost right. Let's see if he's learnt something & is listening to the scientists this time 🤭
