I write this because I do not think CPBone nor the rules around migration are ever really discussed. I think we categorize immigrants as either legal or illegal without thinking of the complexities inbetween the two. Its more complicated than it seems and its broken because this complexity is missed

I have heard how the system functions maybe actually once. Maybe if we actually discussed how the system works, better discourse on this issue would be had. Also, it violates international law (being deported to a country a migrant is escaping) and immigration court is an executive branch department

I really dislike how we discuss migration. This is happening because migrants waiting for their asylum case have to remain in Mexico for their appointment that they schedule through the CBPone app in Mexico. If they try crossing (through the most dangerous areas), they have no chance of asylum.
