But also! In Earthspark they threw out everything interesting about Starscream made him a villain again, and then just had him get stuck in a cave? Like, if you're gonna have him be a villain at least commit to the bit

I don't even blame the writers. It sounds like it was ridiculously rushed and I wouldn't be surprised if there was executive meddling forcing the Bots and Cons to go back to a "good guys vs bad guys" dynamic. But for me that took out all the complexity that made Earthspark unique in the first place.

In a perfect world hearing this show has 4 seasons would be heavenly. But I was gutted to hear season 2 got rid of a lot of the moral complexity with the Decepticons. If season 4 returns to that I might just skip straight ahead and watch that.

Saw this for the video thumbnail and had to track down your account just for this. It looks terrific and terrifying. You made Unicron actually feel like a deep space horror monster and I've never been so scared to see him.
