Those who shared my outrage when Walkers retired their Worcester sauce crisps may be interested to see what my partner found in Sainsbury’s!

Look at this thing of absolute beauty. Red onion, anchovies and capers on a sourdough base. Made by my wonderful partner.

Picked up some delights in the Oxfam superstore today: unopened copy of an Agatha Christie card game, beautiful purple scarf-shawl, and a piece of blue possibly-wool fabric with pretty selvedges. Regret going out because my body ran out of battery half way round, but don’t regret these!

Super exciting post! Gorgeous #Lovecraftesque materials for the second edition of the roleplaying game of cosmic horror (minus the racism etc of actual Lovecraft), by my wonderful friends @beckyannison.bsky.social and @armadajosh.bsky.social.

Easing myself into the new work year with stationery: stickers to decorate the inserts in my Paper Republic book, calendar stickers for the semester, nice new brush pens and lovely not-new fountain pen to plan my work. I do this every week: stationery joy tricks me into being more organised 😁

I rebound one of my favourite books and turned it from a falling apart 40-year-old paperback into a hardback with end papers and a ribbon bookmark 😁

Finished making the glorious cross stitch lobster and covered a footstool with her. Very pleased with myself!

I am informed by @whitehart.bsky.social that Bluesky is all about herons, so here’s mine. She’s a bit fuzzy now but I love her, and I get very excited wherever I see one of her relatives.
