Zelenskyy has really raised the credibility of comedians, but also given the world a wildly misleading bar for what most of us are capable of.
A guy who used to be a comedian & is good at improv and dealing with hecklers and who has also spent the last 3 years in a war zone turns out to be a guy you can’t out-alpha, imagine that

When you're reading an early copy of a friend's book and you write to them midway because you can't wait to tell them how much you love it. THAT. @maisiechanwrites.bsky.social #KidLitUK #UKKidlit

A new booklist drops today!—Christmas in Japanese Literature. Almost two dozen translated books with notable Christmas-related scenes. Everything from cozy coffee books to bloody thrillers à la Ryu Murakami.

Another ‘best of’ list to completely disregard due to the lack of children’s or young adult books. Honestly, did they not learn from the savaging I gave their last list 🙄 vm.tiktok.com/ZGd2pB2fx/

If you want kids to love reading - LET THEM READ THINGS THEY LOVE! The books we love when we're young are the ones that make us readers, and choice is a right that every reader should have. Never take it away from them! #literacy #reading #kidlit #books

I stopped really using Twitter a while ago, & I grieved the loss of a community I built there. Now I'm ready to try to rebuild it 😊

Finally made the move over from Twitter. I hope I'm able to build a community again. I've missed my educator network.
