I live in NYC. I love reading. I cannot think of anything not snarky to add.
I'm adding context in case a post goes missing in the future and I wonder what O was talking about.

Under the field that asks you for an email, there's a very small "No, thanks" that you can click to go straight to a lot of the content.

(I believe that using Substack as a platform is problematic but I also understand that there are monetary issues for users at play.)

I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted. Apologies. I'm still around. Here is a picture of an absolute monstrosity as a picture. #WhyGodWhy

I don't consider Human Rights divisive. As the boards is recommending, I am voting against this and I urge you to do so as well, where ever it pops up.

If you see this, post a picture from your device. No explanation needed. (And don't forget Alt Text.)

I'm in the "getting a job" portion of my program. Yesterday, when talking abt trends that excited us I mentioned @bsky.app. The teacher went on line & added the open jobs to their internal database. Today, the employment coach is using @bsky.app as an example of the intricacies of LinkedIn.

Trainers. For the love of all you hold dear. If a client tells you they walked so much they could barely move for two days, and then they tell you how many steps they walked, do NOT respond "Oh, that's not nearly enough."

It's dispiriting.

Pleased and impressed that at my local street fair yesterday, a group was giving out Naloxone kits for free and teaching people how to use them. #NYC

My greatest Wordle victory was when my first two words revealed all grey letters and I guessed it on the third try.

I was at Target a few days ago. The prominence of the Lipton Soup mix on their Channukah display, which consisted of a roll out metal cart made me chuckle to myself. But also cringe. Granted, it was towards the end of the holiday, but still. A quarter of the entire display.

Let's try something. If you are stuck for a gift idea for someone, let me know and I'll try to help. If you could include relationship and age range I'll give it a shot. I'm pretty good at it.

I hereby start . . . #PeriodicTableTuesday. The inaugural table, The Periodic Table of Coding Languages, comes from Michael Wirth of The University of Guelph. It sorts programming languages by time and type.
