Childless cat lady in a red state needing to commiserate. A good chunk of study for my history degree focused on authoritarian governments. I spent nearly a year studying WWII Germany in German, so my spidey sense has been on high alert since 2015.

Two sets of headphones -- one with music, the other with code coming in. Made a game of it to see who code transcribe quickest.
It was fun until the torpedo hit and he had to dive to retrieve bodies ...
