Had a quart of heavy cream that was almost expired. Added two tablespoons of whole milk yogurt and let it sit for about 12 hrs. Just whipped it into butter.

I have been traumatized by Alice. She caught a pigeon and started eating it. She brought it to the back door with a proud “Look mom”. Ewwwww
I disposed of the poor pigeon. Scrubbed my hands and Alice. We are now on digestive issues watch.

Had some apples that were going to go bad if not eaten. Made applesauce. I canned three pint jars for later. I kept the sugar low so I can use it for baked pork chops.
