Time for our yearly visit to the Spitting Image Eurovulsion Song Contest with a pint of Heineken from 1986

Coincidentally read this part of Terry Pratchett's "Guards! Guards!" over lunch. (My first Pratchett book.) Here, the soon-to-be-former heads of the city are realizing there's a new monster in charge, each wishing one of the others would stand in protest. I heard Pratchett was incisive, but dang. 👀

#harkhalla Tonight I join the fallen, however it's been in a great cause, so I can't be mad- a fabulous benefit concert to raise funds for the luminous Nadine Benjamin as she continues her recovery, with the added joy of catching up with loads of friends and colleagues.
