Blaming everything on God's will and calling for more prayer instead of proactive action may have been understandable amidst the ignorance of the Dark Ages but is no way to govern in the 21st century.
Imagine a Cat-5 hurricane wipes out your town, and all you get is a tweet from your governor saying “God’s got it.” No FEMA. No federal check. Just vibes and Christian nationalism. That’s where we’re headed.
