An Absent Mother's Day - Gator Days
Panel 1 Gustopher is going for a walk. He wrote a letter to his Mom that he doesn't intend for anyone to see. Excerpts of the letter are shown while he walks. He has found a stick. Letter: Dear Mom, I've grown a lot since you left. Panel 2 Gustopher marches forward with the stick he found. It's a pretty nice stick. It makes a cool sound when he swings it. Letter: I'm not a baby anymore. I learned to write and how to make friends without you. Panel 3 Gustopher stops at a bridge and rests his stick on the railing. He's feeling a lot of big emotions right now. Letter: I guess I didn't need you. Panel 4 Gustopher watches the water. It's a good day and it's a difficult day. Letter: I still wish you were here.

It makes me a little sad when these games fall on my lap because I'm positive I would have loved these if I had them on the SNES back in the day. With so many games available, I find it much more difficult to find the time and patience to sink my teeth into a meaty strategy game.

Panel 1 Polly has been called to the school office and she doesn't know why. She is currently in the hall worrying about why she might have been called. She's especially worried that something happened to her mom or sister. Polly: I'm fine. Anxiety: This is bad. Polly: My family is fine. Anxiety: What if they're hurt. Polly: I'm sure they're fine. Anxiety: Was Mom in an accident? Panel 2 Polly is sinking further into her anxious thoughts. She doesn't realize that a boy down the hall is looking her way with concern on his face. Polly: I just have to stop worrying. Anxiety: What if something happened. Polly: It's all fine. Anxiety: Is someone dying? Polly: I'm fine. Anxiety: It's my fault.
