Hi, I absolutely love it, mostly for the higher quality sound, and that they pay artists the best (as far as I understand). I don’t think there’s a a free tier, although they give you a month to try it. Their target audience is audiophiles, but I think a lot of people are starting to try it.

“Fact checking” was probably the wrong word. Example: Character plans an ATM heist in 1982. Was a certain kind of anti-theft tech available yet? Google was unhelpful. Presented the scenario to CGPT, it came back with a summary and links to support the plausibility. Hate to say it, but very helpful.

Yes. I work alone, don’t have the luxury of an editor, and it can check for typos, brainstorm ideas, be a remarkably adept fact checker, give perspective on character or plot development - get me 75% of the way before an actual editor might help finish the job.

I gotta be honest, and it’s rare for me to say this, but this might be the first relatively reasonable thing this dude has said since January. And if he’s gonna distance himself from RFK, that’s a lot better than the alternative.
