Once in a while the never ending health problems do get to me, this is one of those times. On the plus side, last year I almost needed to have my foot amputated but I was lucky. So it could have been worse, at least I still have both my feet. Happy Christmas everyone x

Out of HDU so that’s good (missing my little room though). Having to accept it’s going to be a long recovery - no gym for 3 months 😩. Think cancer restricted to bladder but waiting for histology to have a nose and confirm. If chemo is needed it’s needed - not really a choice. Thanks for asking ❤️

You were able to pay for it, why not?! If mine hadn’t been so big and needed specialist post op care (and ex paid for it 😂) I would do the same. It’s our health, we look after it best way we can. Doesn’t affect my sympathy at all. Hope it went well with the Doc this evening xx

Oh no I’m sorry, it can really throw you when things don’t quite go as planned. I hope they get the nasty pain sorted quickly so you can get on with your recovery. ❤️

Surgery went well, took about 9 hours! So hard for family waiting for updates. Once they’ve got pain and sickness under control they’ll get me out of bed - hopefully tomorrow. Will be thinking of you tomorrow afternoon, hope all goes well for you. Sending love xx

I’ve been meaning to tell you this for ages but you have influenced me! I have a PT and have been going to gym 3 times a week for past few months. Uses up all my money but boy do I feel the difference. So thank you, years of seeing you in your Lycra has had a positive effect!

Thank you Yanny, already knew I had one of them (diagnosed not long ago) but today’s news was a shock. At least foot has stayed healed so not contending with that too, silver linings and all that. x

My flat is my 26th home, I used to love the excitement of looking & buying a new place. This time feels different, I have to move due to the increasing disability. I’ve no ties here either (Tara in Vancouver at uni and plans to stay there). Am looking at Scotland now, back to where I was born.
