This morning just before 1:30 AM, my Mom took her last breath. I’m of course sad about her passing, yet grateful to know she is no longer suffering. I will hold the memory of her close in my heart. She will forever be an integral part of who I am.

I stumbled upon this quote again today. It leaves me thinking about the challenging road ahead. One that along which we will clearly be faced with great adversity. I can not predict exactly how we will navigate it. I’m reminded, however, that there is a fierce fighter in me that will persevere.
