They/Them, AuDHD, Chronically ill, LGBTQI+ and absolutely exhausted.
Ours doesn't have a bin and there's no way out except through a checkout (you have to go through barriers just to get into the store). It doesn't stop shoplifting either as we saw a bloke get tackled by security last week AFTER the barriers 💀

They're always broken and they make it impossible to leave without buying something first. Every time I see them I can't help but wonder how much of a problem they'll be in a fire, too

Finally someone said it! I get so mad when I see "just rest" posts for burn out. I dont work, I spend as much time as possible stimming and doing things I love.. how can I possibly rest MORE? Existing is burning me out and I can't rest from that

My book Ramping Up Rights aims to arm disabled people with our history and how we fought, so that we can still fight today. The gov and media want disabled people to feel isolated, because we are so strong when we come together - and that terrifies them.

I find it mind boggling that people are so excited to put themselves out of a career like that

I think about this frequently. I've kept rats since I was little and the guilt I feel over the early years is unbelievable 💔

As others have said, it would require a huge overhaul to get GPs actually upto scratch. GPs are the GateKeepers of more than just trans stuff and are often massive bigots who dont WANT to help certain people. Its nice in theory but would need a lot of extra work to implement usefully
