Just a bit of late-1970s-upper-lip awesomeness that pays a little too much attention to basketball and other sports
This is one of these moments where I wish the NFL stat community removed "garbage time" from the metrics. The Pats/Carolina game looked very different until both teams pulled a bunch of their starters in the 4th. Then Carolina went on some long drives that... 🤷‍♂️...

What does the blue and orange color coding represent? I can't figure what trend in the numbers its highlighting...

Where is New England on this graphic? Is the flying Elvis under a different logo?

Interesting question

Can we do run and pass blocking separately? I'd hope for middle quartile (and not ruling out better) in run blocking. And yes, second-to-lowest quartile for pass blocking with some rough games in there.

Helpful, thank you

When I look at these graphs, am I correct that they're saying (in effect) that the top LT in the league is worth ~$65M more than a minimum contract player? How should I interpret that number? Is that per year, per life of their rookie contract, or something else...

A question about whether I'm reading these "performance value percentile" graphs correctly...

...The ones from OT and iOL suggest that the top OT#2 and the top OGs have about the same value... is that right?

To the value tiers on the oline go: (1) OT#1, (2) OT#2, OG#1, OG#2, (3) OC... yes?

Arif, can you explain what the 'variance' column on the far right is measuring and what we should take from it?

My first thought when the Texans traded back was that this must saying something bad about Simmons medical file, and the 'motivation/character' whispers about Conerly.

Is there another strong explanation for why they wouldn't take one or the other at #25?
