Reading the great indoors by Emily anthes while outdoors. A book about how buildings & the design of spaces affect our behavior. The exact seat I picked is placed between two different steroes playing different music probably destroying my reading comprehension (and my enjoyment of the music)

But in my view the performance gap of heat pumps, insulation and other green tech is not a niche issue, or at least shouldn't be!

This report shows performance gaps can be as big as 50%!!!

Had a nice day to myself so spent it engaging seriously with Chater's and Lowenstein's S frame vs I frame papers and resulting work from BIT and Irish EPA in these areas.

The national science and technology committee published a blueprint for the use of social & behavioral sciences to advance evidence based policymaking in the US.

Smartly calls for just requiring these evidence types, doing so through grant scoring and grant spending. And creating senior posts. 1/2

I'm not sure if there is a dark pattern term for this but my baby monitor just sent me a notification titled "Alert" while my child was asleep.

Where did this notification lead? To an upsell opportunity for a free trial of their premium service.

This destroys customer trust! #baddesign
