To finish the segment, Marko asks if there is that one song that should win. For An-Marlen there was at least one or two songs

Korea looking at the songs titles, a lot of war - pirates, cowboys, injured, warrior, last man standing... This year's EL will be in boxing format

(12) Clicherik & Mäx "Jolly Roger"

Korea confirms the song is about being on the sea and definitely isn't lacking in agressive - a rave song even

An-Marlen agrees and is happy for her friends, Mäx might have said the song is okay but it deserves to be on Eesti Laul stage
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
As usual gotta call his partner Clicherik who was making eggs. Just as he thought they were done celebrating the new album, suddenly these news

The boys were confident - while Clicherik had a small what if then for Mäx the confidence was from knowing their song was okay
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Target spotted, for Mäx he might earn enough with "Rahvalaul" and "Ebapopulaarne", but maybe the song they've submitted to Eesti Laul is the next one

The song is a modern version of a pirate song

And to surprise the last artist, Heleri went to Kurvad Uudised office under the guise of making a story about how much artists earn from spotify listens

Margus Varusk talks about how it's mostly lives, then merch and physical formats, and streaming... depending on the artists

(11) STOCKHOLM COWBOYS (Stig Rästa, Victor Crone) "Last Man Standing"

An-Marlen: You can feel Eurovision experience, very powerful
Korea: And unexpected, unexpectedly agressive in the middle
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
(10) Laura Prits "Warrior"

Written in a Latvian song-writing camp, 5Miinust has collaborated with Janis before

An-Marlen finds the song wonderful, it's very memorable
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
But of course, he is the next finalist

(9) Robert Linna "Metsik roos"

Robert Linna's of course glad, it's the first self-written song and it wasn't written for Eesti Laul but as a birthday gift to his partner

An-Marlen felt the love from how well the lyrics were written in Estonian
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Next up is actually a check-in with Robert Linna who has been working on a halloween pumpkin throughout the show

A classical side, and other side inspired by Korea
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
(8) ANT x Minimal Wind "Wounds (Don't Wanna Fall)"

Korea: Elisabeth Tiffany, the previous soloist, has left Minimal Wind, I was wondering if the tile is reference to Ant's last year's staging

An-Marlen: Their combo is unexpected, not a typical sound for either of them
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
On collaborating with Minimal Wind, last year Ant really liked their song and connected, so the idea came to have a session, and this song was made from it. And Ant will give the power to the song

Last time Ant was ambitious for victory, this time he wants to enjoy
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
It's time to surprise another artist

Ant: I'm so experienced with this situation.... Oh god the same again

Heleri: What will you be doing on the valentines day?
Ant: Celebrating with my wife, unless something else is happening
H: Open your calendar and write down Eesti Laul
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
(7) Getter Jaani "The Game"

Marko: Getter has Eurovision experience, we were at Düsseldorf

An-Marlen: Oddly I didn't recognise the voice as Getter's, used to hear her in Estonian recently, that much more I'm glad she's back - she's great on the stage
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Today's guest commentators are An-Marlen and Korea

Listening to this year's songs as a jury member An-Marlen kinda felt like looking back she should have enjoyed Eesti Laul time more

For Korea hosting is always scary since you think for months about how nothing must go wrong
October 31, 2025 at 6:39 PM
And the last 6 finalists of Eesti Laul 2026 are:

🔵 Getter Jaani
🔵 Ant x Minimal Wind

Marko: How is this year's harvest?

Ines: It's pretty good, I've been in the prejury before too, there's always a few stars that are very memorable and same this year

(Taukar agrees)
October 30, 2025 at 6:29 PM
6⃣ Ollie "Slave"

Ines: Ollie continues his Eesti Laul career, don't really hear much of him outside it.... But he always comes with really strong songs. Very professional and as we're used to hear Ollie before, has his kind of a touch.
October 30, 2025 at 6:29 PM
5⃣ Vanilla Ninja "Too Epic To Be True"

It's difficult for Taukar to describe the song since... might be in a relationship with someone related to it. But it's a good song

Ines: It's a good song, takes along immediately and most importantly it's very memorable. Very strong
October 30, 2025 at 6:29 PM
The next finalist Piret Järvis has worked on the investigative show Pealtnägija, so she should be able to quickly realise what's happening - Vanilla Ninja has made it to Eesti Laul

Piret reveals the song is modern but with touches of Club Kung Fu. For Lenna it has a warm feeling
October 30, 2025 at 6:29 PM
4⃣ Uliana Olhyna "Rhythm of Nature"

Marko: Uliana had moved to Estonia in 2018, finished Georg Ots' music college, taught by Kadri Voorand

Ines: Great that Eesti Laul also has an Ukrainian singer, very catchy, the song has both Ukrainian and Estonian
October 30, 2025 at 6:29 PM
3⃣ Grete Paia "Taevas jäi üles"

Ines: She's been in a lot of Eesti Laul finals, I can't compare it to previous attempts but a really strong song, very popular. It has a dance touch to it

Karl: That might be understating it, angry, electronic, gets you really going.
