I think it's funny that the Steam Machine will inevitably be called "The Machine" by a lot of people using shorthand to talk about it. Kinda awesome.

It really can't be said enough how funny it is that my dad would call me a girl as a kid when trying to insult me or make me feel weak, then I actually came out as a girl and he was completely blindsided by it.

I want a Steam Deck OLED, but I know that getting such a thing will put my Switch 2 in a really weird position lmao. It's currently my favorite handheld to use because it has a better looking screen than the Steam Deck LCD and the Steam Deck is my brother's, but getting the OLED will change that.

I really hope that Valve creates a Steam Machine verification system, similar to what they have going for Steam Deck. I imagine something lile that system could be extremely useful even for people who don't have the Machine, but have similarly powerful PCs.

I'm curious how the Steam Machine will stack up against current gen consoles in the long run. I think it's safe to say next gen consoles will be more powerful, but the Steam Machine looks like it'll have a more powerful CPU, more overall RAM but less usable VRAM, and a weaker GPU than the PS5.

This is lower on the like "WOW I'M SO EXCITED" priority list, but I'm interested to see what's up with the new VR headset and controller. Less so the VR headset because I don't have much space for that kind of thing, but the controller looks like it could be great for my setup.

So in my current situation where I live with my parents and my setup is all in my bedroom, the Steam Machine doesn't really make much sense for me because I already have a significantly more powerful PC, a PS5, and a Switch 2 at my desk.

I'm tempted to stop recording Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter footage as I play it because I think I'd get through it so much faster if I could play in handheld, plus I have 30 hours of footage already, but also I really like recording my whole playthrough when doing reviews and it's just like blehhh.

Pretty decent. Looking at these, the only one I'm like *really* excited for is Tomodachi Life Living the Dream, but I'll probably play some of these other games, and I expect we'll get more news on 2026 releases near the end of this year/early next year.
