I know Albert Reynolds ultimately settled the libel case for much more but I do remember the initial award where the jury found there was a libel but damages were 1p. www.rte.ie/news/1999/10...

Sport needs to stand strong for its ideals. Those ideals do not include ignore health, ignore that sport is a source of role models, ignore that flashy billionaires just want a spectacle and will toss all aside when they are bored. All for money. No. Just my personal view

It undermines the fundamentals of a fair and moral sport. The Olympics has been associated with ,mens sana in corpore sano, (A healthy body and a healthy mind). I note Shane still uses the postnominal OLY in his social media. He will always be an olympian but he is not living up to the title. 2/3
