Caught this moose walking into traffic. Moose aren’t deterred by busy streets, cars, even the highway. Sometimes, it means they’re hit, but fortunately this moose was moving slowly and cars were aware of it crossing.

Yesterday, I was a chaperone on 8’s field trip to the @AlaskaSeaLife It was amazing, as usual. This precious seal made all everyone’s day. Born w/ a neurological condition & was SO playful w/ the kids through the glass. 🥹🩷

This cute jerk chewed up the power cord on our new vacuum. I got it last month & can’t find a compatible cord to replace it with. Anyone know how compatible Shark rotator pet lift away power cords are w/ other models? 😑😑

My PSA to wear sunscreen, ALWAYS. Otherwise, you may end up with skin cancer and a busted looking post-op face too. Also, my PSA for regular skin checks at the dermatologist. #skincancer

3YO ran inside and said “Happy Birthday! I got you a mushroom.” (My bday is in a couple weeks.) And my 8YO followed behind, showing me the tiniest mushroom we had ever seen. So cute.

Waldo wiggled out of his cone this AM. His chill meds hadn’t taken effect yet. I had to wrestle him to get it back on, like I was roping a calf. He is scrappy! Photo of him snuggling the 3YO yesterday before melting the end of his cone on the fireplace glass. 🤦🏼♀️

Going to be a long two weeks. Vet had to add another med to try & chill him out more bc he was like the energizer bunny still. Keeping a GSP puppy on bed rest is feel like punishment for all of us. 🤣

Potty training a puppy is not for the faint of heart. Sitka was potty trained by the time we adopted her. Waldo has gone exactly ZERO days since 💩 in the house. 🫠🫠 He alerts to be let inside, but won’t alert to go out to potty. Sir, what are you doing with your life?

My daughter had art the other day & said the art teacher let them paint anything they wanted. She played around w/ her brush & said she realized it looked like flowers. Her art is always so cool to me.

I think I pulled them a bit too soon, but look what I grew. I don’t think the rest will make it bc Waldo started trying to pull them up & also trampled them. 🤣🤦🏼♀️

In other news, today is our 13th wedding anniversary & we gifted ourselves this cutie. Introducing Waldo. He & siblings were abandoned at the private airport. He was already named. We kept it bc we think it suits him. He’s a pointer of some kind & 😍
