I attended the Connections Mini-Con in Burnaby BC yesterday. While I was not behind the vendor table my daughter ran she did have my books for sale on one corner. The result is one sale of Synergy and one trade for a book written by David Falk.

It has been suggested I need a more futuristic font for this image, but all the fonts I can find that stand out as futuristic I find hard to read.

After my last opportunity to hand sell my novels I got to thinking more about creating a table banner to help show off my table. This is what I've come up with a this time with the idea of having the finished product ready to display at a table in mid November. What do you think?

Here is what I've come up with so far. I don't yet know how to handle the four corners where the edgings meet. Once I've figured that out I will seek ways to give the overall image some texture.

Still working on the idea of a zoom backdrop for podcasts and other virtual setups. Here is the picture I used as the template to get the 3d elements in perspective. The actual bridge hatch wall will go where the pillar juts into the corridor.

For some time now I have been playing with the idea of how great it would be to have a zoom background that would make it look like I'm sitting on the bridge of the ship in my stories. This is my first attempt to turn that idea into a reality.

After 4 months of recovery from my knee surgery I am now up to taking short walks along some of the river walk trails I often frequented before the accident.

I don't dress up often but today would have been Mum's 105th birthday and the family is getting together for a big memorial.

At one point I played with creating a 3d model of the ship my characters travel between stars in. While there have been changes in the design since those days, I still get joy out of looking at what I was able to accomplish back then.

Niv and June first made an appearance on Father's day, and, in spite of the whole space-time-alternate universe thing have continued to put in regular visits to see how their story is going.
