So, it can be reasonably argued that bad policing was at the root of these fires. If kids of color had been setting off fireworks in a danger zone, cops would been up their asses before the smoke cleared. They’re not putting down the donut for whiteboy shenanigans. Where was leadership?
The Palisades fire may have been sparked by fireworks, killing at least eight people and destroying over 1,200 structures. Residents are asking if more could have been done to stop the use of fireworks, which are illegal in LA.

I remember the Palmer Report, early days of the first trump administration. They promised action that never appeared, or assertions w/o evidence, or other nonsense that made them the lefty version of trumpist propaganda. Now they’re here, with bigger promises and a disabled reply feature. Thoughts?
