We ran an ethical campaign, no gutter politics no sensationalist rubbish. This campaign was by the people for the people, and of that I couldn't be more proud.

✔️ $2.0 million to the Black Dog Institute to research men’s mental health and suicide prevention at the Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing.

✔️ $3.0 million to Healthy Male to support the delivery of Plus Paternal Initiative, a program that helps men prepare for fatherhood and supports the development of good parenting skills during the perinatal period.

✔️ $7.4 million to Movember to expand the successful Ahed of the Game program that equips young boys and adolescent males in sporting environments with emotional resilience and teaching them help seeking behaviours.

✔️ $8.3 million to the Men’s Sheds Initiative to support another two years of the National Shed Development Program that provides grants of up to $10,000 to individual Men’s Sheds. It will also support the Australian Men’s Sheds Association to deliver new health promotion and prevention programs.

At the centre of this investment $11.3 million will provide funding for Movember to strengthen Medicare so it works better for men – by helping train and develop the health workforce to better reach, respond and connect with men when they walk through GP clinics.
