A writer is being cheated by her publisher. “She thinks I’m stupid.” Nah. I’ve encountered this same the publisher so I KNOW that she knows she’s not nearly as smart or as talented, which is why she feels an overwhelming urge to cheat the writer and “outsmart” her. It’s more about that than money.
