The best way for the gov. to promote UK investment is

1. fiscal responsibility to prevent uncertainty due to currency devaluation fears.

(If the pound sinks 10% compared to the currency used by an international investor they lose 10%)

2. Supply side reforms to make wealth creation more dynamic.
