@prune602.bsky.social do you have any info about a drop in fertility (child per woman over the lifetime) in Russian women, since the start of the war?

It turns out that the current free trade isn't free at all.

"Free trade is perhaps the closest thing to a universally held value among economists."

The problem is not that "free trade" is in fact a bad thing. It is that most economists don't seem to have a sense of what "free trade" actually looks like.

Economists Are in the Wilderness. Can They Find a Way Back to Influence?
Economists have long helped to shape policy on issues like taxes and health care. But flawed forecasts and arcane language have cost them credibility.

Ukrainian intelligence officers destroyed an expensive Russian counter-battery radar system Zoopark-1.

The cost of Zoopark-1 is about $10 million. It was destroyed with the help of 4 FPV drones, which cost 10 thousand times cheaper than the radar system.

Glory!

Four of Donald Trump’s nominees are especially dangerous to the security of the United States and to the well-being of its people, @radiofreetom.bsky.social argues in The Atlantic Daily. “The Senate must turn back these nominations, and do so en bloc.”

If you keep being surprised that an adjudicated rapist and sexual predator surrounds himself with sexual predators, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Being an abuser—or willing to enable abuse—is a prerequisite to being accepted in Trump's orbit.
Police reported contusions, or bruises, to the woman's right thigh. Hegseth in 2023 paid a settlement to the woman and she signed a mutual nondisclosure.

2 Fund anti western & anti refugee parties in west

One day it'll all be clear — all the dots will be connected — of how during the mid-2010s the Kremlin crafted the MAGA movement from its inception to rot America from the inside.
Unfortunately, by that time American institutions might be corrupted to third-world country level, perhaps beyond repair.

Russia openly admits interfering in US elections but the MAGA cult won't believe even if Trump himself admits it.
Putin's chief propagandist, the head of Russian state TV, is boasting about their success in helping Trump win the election. Just like Trump, RFK Jr. has repetedly blamed the US and NATO for the war in Ukraine and opposed sending military aid to Ukraine.
