Amazing footage of our very own steel elliptical arched bow string bridge with diagonal bracing and lattice infilled parapets. Also known as the Banana Bridge! Sadly someone has already tagged it, such a shame. We will ret and keep in top of it.

I am pleased to see that the resurfaced and more clearly marked bike lane in Bristol City Centre seems to be working better. We are monitoring it closely to see what further improvements may be needed. @Chris_Boardman @BristolCouncil @BristolCycling

These advertising hoardings were erected without any planning permission in Totterdown, degrading the local environment. Really glad to see the company being forced to remove them by @bristolcouncil.bsky.social planning enforcement team. @adblockbristol.bsky.social

Lovely to get out with local volunteers in Victoria Park today sowing wild seeds. This is one of several patches and we hope it will encourage moths and beetles, then in turn to help bats, mice and owls. @vpagbristol @TRESAcic

Local Councillor Ellie Freeman and I were pleased to see the Festival Way reopened after a long closure (with a well signed diversion route). It’s been done to a good standard, with a bat corridor and lots of trees. Although it could have been widened beyond 3m.

Thank you to all the @TRESAcic volunteers who turned out to spring clean around Totterdown’s green spaces by litterpicking. Lots of litter removed, including two crowbars hidden in the undergrowth. Quite a haul!

I have also requested that this drain (just back toward Temple Meads) be cleaned and investigated. It is a frequent issue that sprays filthy water on the cycle/footpath after the increasingly frequent heavy rain.

I am happy with the quick response to the mud on this pavement from @bristolcouncil.bsky.social

Summary of the changes in new plans for Broadwalk. There are still some huge blocks on the main Wells Road, but a much, much more sympathetic and gentle impact on Redcatch Park.

This is spookily like the photo I took and sent to @bristolcouncil housing department two weeks ago. Awaiting a response.

We have had this displayed on our food waste bin for many years, as that is where the liquid accumulates. Glad to say no Public Health or Health and Safety issues since it has been warning people.

Really pleased that three trees have finally been planted on St John’s Lane outside the primary school. And that LisacStone and I could be there. @lisastone70.bsky.social
