A very short synopsis of the past ~6 months, by An Elf

I moved from my hometown in Iowa up to Rockford, IL in March. Part of this was to not be a trans person in Iowa, but most of it was because I met another transfemme online. Her name is Sylvia, and she is cool + good and we wound up moving in!

One thing: In addition to myself (seven years of solitude, and about 45 days of some actual joy) I've had an internet alter ego the whole time. Who, guess what, started her transition seven years ago. Well, Real Me and Estelle Me are one and the same now, not a separate half-life and a vain hope.

Okay okay I guess I should say SOMETHING about myself.

I'm a 37yo transfemme living right on the IA/IL border. I'm a born comedienne, and as proof, I started coming out to people on Election Day. I started some DIY HRT around that time, and got a proper prescription about a week ago.
