In the background you can see a wall of various modern assassination weapons and a coffee table with his signature mug on it. Spencer became quite close to Ashur soon after the Shadow Dragons were formed. It took a little longer to trust him, but once they got past that barrier, Spencer would trust him with his life; and still does.

Rowan and Isabela have had a very strong bond ever since she found him in that bar. +
