Added different weapon visuals and updating when player equips a new weapons. I thought this would be pretty easy but I should know better by now. All of the bugs are fixed though. I only have one inventory icon currently but you get the idea. #gamedev #solodev

Added a context menu and a the ability to drop items from the menu. Was going to start on some other aspects of the game but there were a few loose ends to tie up with inventory. Hopefully next week I will be getting into the interesting stuff! #gamedev

Now that I have the base of my inventory system working, I am now working on stat and item effect generation. Did a little test and now I have a sword that spawns balls every couple of seconds when equipped. What more could you want? #gamedev #solodev

Added item borders for when I implement rarity. Also added tooltips for non-equipment items. Next up is tooltips for equipment items which will be a little more tricky #gamedev #gaming #solodev

Added some freebie icons to liven up the inventory a system a bit and to make sure that sprites were passing incorrectly. So far so good. Now to hook it up to a stats system and really get everything rockin and rollin. #gamdev #gaming #solodev

It has been painstaking but the inventory system is coming along. I have managed to keep dependencies to a minimum and most of the functionality I need is working great. A lot of work to go but the hope is that I will be able to reuse this fairly easily once complete #gamedev

One of the two new Xeno variants! Cleansors have a
