Everything Everything were *unbelievable* in Brum last night. There's nothing quite like the alchemy you get when a band is on top form with a fully engaged crowd in a great venue. Best gig I've been to this year.

Genuinely surprised that Bombay Bicycle Club came in at #1! It's 2014 all over again...

Their set in Notts was genuinely joyous though - one of the highlights of the year for sure.

Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵

Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres
A message from a REAL farmer who hasn’t been brainwashed by the Tories, wealthy landowners and the right wing media👇🏽

Jeremy Clarkson is turning up to the protest tomorrow.

A reminder that he bought his 312-acre farm in 2012 for £4.25million in HIS OWN WORDS so that he:

*would not be required pay death duties on the land*

For a guy that supposedly knew nothing about Project 2025, he sure is putting a metric shit ton of them in his administration.

Absolutely grim how completely Trump has captured the UFC and its audience. Every PPV has become a festival of propaganda with even the biggest fighters debasing themselves to kiss the ring.

The Onion is the last great American institution
Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

I'm sorry but I don't think you can do "oh the Dems didn't talk about this one issue I love so that's why they lost" in *this* election, democracy was and is on the line, Trump is a horrible man who ran a horrible campaign, sometimes you have to just face the reality of the electorate being awful
