Film & TV producer (His House, The Listeners, Suspect, Howl) former Head of Dev at Elton John's Rocket Pictures. Bald bloke, wearer of many hats. NUFC forever.
I'm on Episode 3 of @netflixuk.bsky.social #Adolescence and I can't help feeling relief for the producers that it's mainly 'in the room' because the other episodes were giving me stress pains on their behalf.

Very much enjoyed @scottderrickson’s The Gorge on @AppleTV. I often get bored easily in action movies, but this had enough layers of mystery, engaging characters and a smart plot to keep my attention hooked. Like Carpenter he blends ideas from multiple genres well.

The PCC is my favourite cinema. My BEST memories of watching films on the big screen are here. I got to watch my #1 movie, Goodfellas, with hundreds of others, for my birthday a few years ago. I threw spoons at the screen watching The Room there.

Good riddance to a terrible, terrible year for film and TV workers. I hope 2025 will be better for everyone… will be doing all that I can to bring projects to the UK. It really is make or break for the business here.

Quite a few times recently writers have sent me a really great idea or a script with a lot of potential, but they've already attached a director... and if the director ain't super talented I've had to pass, because I know I won't be able to finance it with that attachment.
