There’s a surprising amount of shirtless Scott Bakula in Star Trek: Enterprise. I mean good for him, he’s in shape. But all Picard ever got was the deepest V ever and hot pants for pajamas.

Seeing that Captain America panel posted everywhere again.
The next two panels are worth checking out too.
From Daredevil #283 (1990) by Ann Nocenti and Mark Bagley.

I’m not a “Skip Intro” person. But I’ve started watching Enterprise for the first time, and I can’t hit that button fast enough.

Calvin and Hobbes ended 30 years ago today. Still stands as one of the greatest bits of writing in history.

It’s well known there were fake solicits for the next two issues, so the ending was a (unwelcome) surprise for retailers too. But what was funny, is the fake issues showed up later as cancelled on invoices from Diamond.

Reading some Silver Age Avengers. I kind of appreciate that Stan Lee will tell you up front if the issue is kind of a dud (but places the blame on everyone else)

My wife surprised me with a page from Angel: After the Fall by Franco Urru, written by @brianmichaellynch.bsky.social and edited by @chrisryall.bsky.social.

This is one of my favorite runs of all time. I never thought I’d get a page from it, and am thrilled to finally have it framed in our house.

Radioactive Man was pronouncing it right all along…

Got my creator Spotify wrapped. As always, our first Buffy Back Issue Bin episode on Angel: After the Fall by @brianmichaellynch.bsky.social and Franco Urru came out on top. Oh how I wish we had better microphones when we recorded that episode…

Rob Reiner put so much good into the world with his movies and actions. A terrible loss.

King Sorrow by @joe-hill.bsky.social wasn’t just the best book I read this year, it was one of the best stories of the entire year. Massive book that just flew by.

I’m a relatively smart guy. Have some skills, talents, general knowledge.

But every Christmas present I wrap looks like it was done by an overactive child.

Got my copy of The End Times in the mail today by @benjaminpercy.bsky.social and @stephenking.bsky.social. Really fun read, looking forward to next month. And if you know my former store name…I appreciate how it started.

I finally got around to read Godzilla vs Fantastic Four. What an incredible one-shot. Great throw back style story telling, great twists and surprises. So glad I picked this up.

@realgdt.bsky.social is the opening Frankenstein scene firing at the ice inspired by the Hammer Dracula: Prince of Darkness?

I know it’s the big story from the first 3 games, but have the Celtics considered…rebounding?

My daughter, Winifred, was born this week and has vetoed doing a new podcast. She owns a controlling stake in the company, so what she says goes.

Drew Sturzan was one of the best artists to ever do it. If you don’t know the name, it’s impossible not to know the work. What an absolute legend.

LeBron teasing The Decision: Part 2 and having it just be a Hennessy ad is hilariously lame.

@mikeflanaganfilm.com loved The Life of Chuck commentary. Very sincere and interesting. Your reflections on Scott Wampler were touching.

Al Horford has been such a huge part of this team. Great dad, person, and player. Going to miss him as a Celtic, but want nothing but the best for him.
We've known it was coming for a while, but now Al Horford leaving Boston is official. I'm going to miss him on the Celtics, but I get it. Team just wasn't in a place to bring him back on a reasonable deal. Glad he's headed to a team where he'll play a big role on a contender!
