He understands what’s happening and he tells me to keep emailing and complaining to give him something to forward to them. After a month of this, I made a complaint to the NY State Attorney General’s office. Check got cut in a week and mailed with no correspondence. Just arrived today.

I begin emailing and talking to the manager in person at the club. No answers on what’s happening and he’s not getting info from the owner. He shows me emails on his screen that the refund was approved. I start emailing the manager every few days because nothing is getting done

On 8/28/25, the refund request was supposedly approved, but never paid out. I was told I’d get a paper check because it was over a certain amount. Fine. I’ll wait for the check. Should be two weeks. Seems reasonable. 9/15 comes and no check has arrived.

The manager of the center tracked it down and he helped me cancel the newer membership with the higher monthly charge and requested a refund for the full amount paid because their system did not notice a duplicate membership. That request was 8/8/2025.

I was able to get a voucher for a replacement but it uses one of my refills. Small price to pay there. Novo-Nordisk is replacing it for free in exchange for the bad pens back. They can have them.
