Love them or hate them, the Dodgers do more than just spend. The big Game 7 HRs came from Muncy (originally signed for minimum salary after A's released him), Rojas (signed as minor league free agent, traded away, re-acquired in trade for a journeyman), and Smith (drafted by Dodgers, 32nd overall).

This new report, based on work by an international group of experts, looks like a milestone in the discussion about AI capabilities and risks. I was honored to play a small role in its preparation as a "senior advisor".
Today, we are publishing the first-ever International AI Safety Report, backed by 30 countries and the OECD, UN, and EU.

It summarises the state of the science on AI capabilities and risks, and how to mitigate those risks. 🧵

Last month I was shopping for a fire blanket to hang over the pellet stove for safety, and the 5-star blanket had thousands of reviews about how easy it was to install, how good it looked, and how safe it made them feel.

The 1-star reviews all said "the fire blanket caught on fire"
