pop's new cosmic desktop environment is so good. the hot keys for window tiling and having the option to switch back to floating windows is great, i cant go back to a different os

have you heard of framework laptops? they're modular and highly repairable, so very ethical plus they fund ubuntu and fedora devs to have dedicated hardware support. plus community support for other distros. i love mine - it's the best linux laptop and so easy to fix/replace broken parts

but also, i dont think anyone action's are right or wrong in the movie, it just is. the community isolates and treats infected like soul less cus how else do you psychologically cope. but then does that lead to a toxic society

i love how he treats all beings with respect. He doesn't kill the infected, he doesn't think they're soul-less. Jamie + the community treats them like hunting toys and isolates in fear away from them. i think their society is turning into the same one that produced the rage virus in the first place

3the infected mirror our society. the virus formed by watching the horror of humanity and it evolved to mirror us in a way. and the community isolates and wants to life in a regressed society. makes me think a lot about trauma and a compartmentalized and toxic society.

2i think the action angles and shots represent the pov of each 'teacher's' perspective - the dad is action and toxicity, the mom is grief, the doc is beauty. and the ending is the most fucked up. it shows kids that never grew up. they view it as a game. and contrasting that is the infected:

1) there's a great reddit comment that summed up why i liked it. it's like a fable, each person in Spike's life is explaining death to him in their own way, with his island community sheltering and treating people like they're souless. the doc teaches about cherishing life, so he chooses to live

it made me laugh too and it made me excited. it felt like classic british horror/humor and there's a whole new fucked up adventure ahead.

i want to remove package X with renv::remove() but that says pkg X is not installed.

but it's in the lockfile.. and when i remove it from the lockfile renv says it's installed and needs to be recorded in the lockfile 🙃

just found out how to change the parameter description info from a table to a list, like with sphinx docs. and then added some css to highlight and change the font to jetbrains. 🤌🏼 makes me want to create more python packages just to make more docs #quartodoc #quarto
