Somehow I remember so much of this PTA commentary word for word. Many years ago in film school a professor randomly, completely out of context, said a few lines from the commentary, mocking it. I remember thinking “why did he say that, and how do I recognize those lines?!” Anyway it holds up!

I saw my neighbor at our local bakery today, where he called black and white cookies “half and halfs”…

…unless he follows me he’ll never know why I’m giving him the cold shoulder for the rest of my life!!!

I've gotten really into listening to podcasts while gaming. But you need a certain kind of mindless game where the audio doesn't matter. I can't tell if WWE2k24 is good or just good for this purpose but I will be unlocking doink while listening to the new yorker radio hour

I've watched Fellowship many times and ROTK once. I looked at my phone when Grima got shot and had to google who shot him. But "frodo offered to help Grima"?! I know I wasn't looking away that long

I've always hated these little shields gladiators use. Imagine going back in time and being stuck with these weapons Kirk has here. It'd be like if Atari 7800 was your only console!!
