Cheevwut thinks humans are cool the same way humans think bears and sharks are cool. We are a big, physically intimidating animal. This kind of attitude can contribute to prejudicial fear of humans among avians, though.

The soft and "cozy" moments in ghibli only resonate with us as much as they do BECAUSE of the rest of the moments in the movies like these!
Also the nice moments are usually like showing nature in it's full glory etc, like this is how it can be if we stop fucking it up.

The Flanderization of ghibli in the public mind is just so insane to me. Acting like it’s entirely wholesome and cutesy but is really overtly anti capitalist, depict the horrors of war and environmental decline, and have TONS of body horror and depictions of death and disease. it legit annoys me
