For years Bristol had fireworks on the downs. The official area cost a fortune for entry and extra for funfair rides etc whilst 20k people would always hang around outside for free. There was an accident in 2007 and the BBC report seemed uncaring saying "the victims were outside the official area"

People seem to feel nostalgic for factory work etc. without a true idea of where we actually are with economic development.

Unfortunately these Labour MPs seem to believe it as well (class snobbery?) or are pandering to it for "votes"?
