Given the behavior of the court, Justice Breyer would be a welcome and much needed voice of reason. I wish him the best in retirement but would also love it if he could speak out more (like this) about the sheer madness of the Roberts court. The serving justices don’t have the same flexibility.

If your neighbor said the things RFK Jr. said and fired the smartest sales people in a small business you wouldn’t elect them Mayor. Or support your friends who had. So why do 1/2 of the country INCLUDING ELECTED OFFICIALS support the person in charge of our health care policy doing these things?

I’m so terribly sorry, sad, scared, and disappointed at what’s happening in DC. But not being there and despite reading a lot and talking to friends, it’s still challenging to understand what is actually happening on the ground. And the local electeds’ actions make no sense.

I certainly agree. So what should “do not tolerate it” look like? Calling elected has limited success (hasn’t worked yet), voting- of course, protests, and the occasional sandwich. They are barely making a dent. Frankly, i want to do more but don’t know what.
