Pretty close but Oklahoma / north Texas are pretty vast so highway trips are costly, regardless

From 'Trump was sitting next to an actual jihadist on the 18th' dept.

He didn't wear a suit, either.

This dynamic leads right back to Budanov: to confront Zelensky with a set of circles that are almost impossible to square - within a context where Zelensky feels he has no allies anywhere.

No wonder Zelensky is taking trips to visit front line troops.
November 21, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Budanov certainly has mortal enemies within the Ukrainian military but he has a resumé of results. He also has a better chance to straddle the bloodthirsty-genteel gap than the business types and apparatchiks that populate the current government.

Europeans know what to do, they are simply loathe to do what they know.

Europeans invented modern warfare. They are very good at it.

Clausewitz and Scharnhorst.

Zelensky needs to tell Trump to 'bugger off'.
November 21, 2025 at 6:42 PM
LOL!

A bunch of witless morons.

There should have been UK troops in Ukraine already. But, you know, gas prices.

Or it could be just the shilling for the Great Ponzi in the Sky. We don't know!

The longer Trump remains in office the less commercial capacity the Russians will have remaining as Ukrainians get better at smashing it.

Meanwhile, Trump is too dense to realize Saudis dumping crude on a flaccid oil market boosts Ukraine whilst punishing Putin in the wallet where it counts.

Here's a scorecard for Trump. Witkoff & Co.

Reportedly Ryazan facility was struck again by Ukrainian drones last night.

Above photo is result of Ukrainian - built ballistic missiles knocking out the Russian air defense system @ Novorossiysk a few days ago.
November 20, 2025 at 4:41 PM
I don't understand is why people who should know better - trained media professionals - subscribe to the notion that Ukraine can be 'forced to surrender' by Trump or his stooge Witkoff?

US has zero-leverage over Ukraine, what it had it threw away that first time Zelensky visited the White House
November 20, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Upshot is Trump and his gang of idiots manage to make unrepentant thug Reccep Erdogan look like a statesman.

Policies the so-called 'civilized world' has had since the turn of the 20th century will cause massive disruption regardless of what we do now.

Hint: disruption is already well underway.

See this thing here?

These aren't really part of 21st century railroading, they are considered hold-overs from the age of steam. It's a turntable where locomotives can be turned around. Russians use them to make up two-locomotive sets.

There are also railroad electric traction substations that can be hit with drones or partisan pot shots. This is west and north of Perm:

Perm city is a major industrial center with dozens of useful targets for Ukrainian drones and missiles.

Most vulnerable would be Lukoil refinery complex @

Rail line in Perm wreck with burning fuel tank cars. It's not clear whether this was an accident or an attack, how much damage has been done or where in Perm exactly.

US offers new surrender document to Ukrainians, using Kyiv corruption scandal as a lever:

This is the same surrender document that has been promoted by the US to the Ukrainians several times before.
