Amateur photographer in Morgan County, Indiana. I am particularly interested in local ecology and the positive impact that an individual can have on the biodiversity of one's own property by removing invasive plants and planting native species instead.
This species is relatively uncommon; this was the 59th record of the species posted to iNaturalist. I found it on a redbud shrub in my suburban back yard in Marion County. One of the two moth species which this spider has evolved to hunt was likely attracted by the nearby common evening primrose.
