Friday night - unlike the car industry-paid magazines and newspaper reports- there is no feeling at all of insecurity through migrants or hostile groups at the train stations in Germany. It’s (the problems) all in the heads, not out in the street. Enjoyed a beautiful ride through Nuremberg.

Not just a #forest but a rare piece of not intense “producing” nature. Instead there is tons of biomass lying around and a thick roof out of leaves covering the earth. Healthy cool climate inside here and good air. Preserve! This!

going to work as always w/o car and a good mood. No traffic jam, but a forest instead

No #words, no #car, no #oil, no #consuming. What you need to be happy is friends and a safe place. Clean water, clean air, good food. You don’t need a big car, flying out of your life for 2 weeks won’t fix it. A bigger TV won’t, neither will kicking people out of good countries or societies.

When the #temperature goes down at 18:00 I go to the sea. UV radiation levels are low and most people are gone. The water is warm and the rush hour done. I can only recommend this. Free electric bicycle chargers and beautiful farsight bicycle routes at #brombachsee #bavaria #frankonia #germany

Did a 70km ride with 2 kids. Epic experience.

What really matters is not our profit and economic growth. It’s keeping this, from becoming a desert.

Another example of good #road #planning near #nuremberg

#Camping with three #children and no #car needed. With this equipment we could easily ride up to 60km a day. Only downside is - it takes a bit to pack all things back together after sleeping. We spent a beautiful time. #relaxing in #nature with 0 local #emissions

#Altmühlsee in Germany, a beautiful place to ride your #bicycle. Around the sea #cars are #banned. There is free charging stations. I rode 55km with my 3 children on one bicycle. The #bergamont cargoville is designed für 230kg of weight, so we all fit in.

Places without cars are so enjoyable.

#public #free #charging Very cool from the local „VR- Banking institute“ time for a short break in my way

Going 30 km to the sea. No #car needed.

Each marked #tree is going to be #cut. While the tree farm “ #forest” is already not dense enough to endure hot dry periods, we continue cutting trees down until it is a grass plain. No cooling effect, no rain making effect. No benefits for our health. Only profit.

This is how #cities are supposed to be #planned to be #sustainable. A wide patch of #trees between the #road and the #housing with a seperated #bicycle #lane inbetween. Wonderful cool in summer heat periods and less #noise #polluted.

While riding to the supermarket we met friends and decided to go to the playground. This wouldn’t have been possible with cars where everyone is locked inside. 🚲

Like guards, the old #oak trees - planted centuries ago - stand in a line at the corner of the #forest near Heilsbronn. A beautiful place to rest with your bike and take 10 minutes from the way to work->home and let all the stress fall off.

Dedicated bicycle lanes save lives, yet another study shows.
Cities with dedicated bike lanes had 44% fewer deaths and 50% fewer serious injuries than the average American city, partly because that infrastructure tended to slow traffic down slightly.

Riding to #work with a #bicycle is one of the essential ways to find time to do your weekly #workout. It‘s no wasted time! You save it by taking the bicycling instead of the car, because you don’t have to do a workout after your job! Each ride saves 2-3 €. Adding up to 450€ a year 💰 you can do it

A picture of my last visit in a „tree farm“ near Windsbach germany yesterday. There were tons of leaves on the ground and the soil was very alive and moving. I saw lots of younger deciduous tree ready to take over while the conifer trees die. 🍂 🌳
